What does "eco-friendly" mean?

An organic product is certified and bears the corresponding organic label in accordance with organic production regulations.

Organic production is based on respect for the environment and establishes basic requirements for the production, labeling, and monitoring of products from livestock, aquaculture, and agriculture.

All organic products respect the environment, improve animal welfare, and provide consumers with more nutrients because they maintain natural growth cycles in both agriculture and livestock farming, while also eliminating the residues found in conventional foods that accumulate in our bodies (fertilizers, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics...).

The exception
The fish jars do not have the European organic label, and here’s why: European legislation does not allow wild-caught fish to be considered organic because their diet cannot be controlled in the wild.
That is why jars containing wild hake (a fish that cannot be farmed) cannot carry this label

Why we do not use preservatives

Although our products have a long shelf life, we do not use any artificial preservatives in our production process.
Instead, our products undergo a natural sterilization process: once the products are packaged and vacuum-sealed, they are exposed to high temperatures in a special chamber to eliminate any microorganisms from the product and prevent spoilage.
It is a process similar to what we do at home when we want to make preserves. This is how the product can be preserved for much longer.

What allergens can you find

- The jars are allergen-free.
- The pouches are allergen-free except for the yogurt and oatmeal pouch (which contains gluten, egg, and milk) and the yogurt and raspberry pouch (which contains egg and milk).
- The baby food purees contain egg and milk, and specifically, the 7-grain puree also contains gluten. They may also contain traces of soy and tree nuts.
- The spelt and cereal cookies may contain gluten, PLV, milk, egg, tree nuts, and soy.
- The multigrain rolls contain PLV and milk. They may also contain traces of soy.
- The breakfast cereals contain gluten, PLV, and milk, and may also contain traces of soy.

Best before date

We recommend checking the shelf life of each product individually.
In general:

- Jars: 24 months.
- Pouches: 12 months.
- Baby food: 12 months.
- Smilitos: 6 months.
- Cookies: 10 months.

How long do the jars last once opened?

We recommend that once the jar is opened, it be consumed within 24 hours, provided you keep it in the refrigerator.
If you wish to freeze it, you can seal it tightly and store it until its expiration date. Please note that jars containing potatoes will change in texture once thawed, so we recommend avoiding this method of storage.

Is my jar in good condition?

Check whether the central safety button on the jar’s lid clicks or sinks in: if it does, DO NOT CONSUME. The vacuum seal may have been compromised due to impact during shipping.

When each product is introduced

Every baby is different, and the introduction of new foods should always be supervised by a professional.
Gluten-free baby food can be introduced starting at 4 months of age, and 7-grain baby food starting at 6 months.
When a baby begins complementary feeding—at 6 months—it is recommended to start with fruit jars, followed by vegetable, meat, fish, and legume jars.
Finally, our snacks (Smilitos, Pouches, Mini Rolls, Cookies) can be introduced once the baby no longer has a gag reflex and can pinch with their fingers; provided that all the ingredients they may contain have been introduced beforehand.

Up to what age can I give the products?

Our products have no age restrictions, although a baby’s nutritional needs change as they grow.
Our products can be the perfect addition to any baby’s or child’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack. They’re even great for adults and seniors.

What is Bisphenol A or BPA?

Bisphenol is a chemical found in some plastics used in baby products such as bottles, containers, spoons, and plates; it has been linked to effects on a baby’s cardiovascular and endocrine systems.
At Smileat, we are committed to using Bisphenol A-free containers and lids, even though its use is permitted under regulations in Spain and many other countries.
We are committed to investing in your baby’s health, just as we do with all our ingredients and processes. Therefore, none of our packaging (jars, lids, pouches, etc.) contains Bisphenol A.

How do I activate my subscription?

You can start your subscription here by selecting the products you want and choosing your preferred delivery frequency (every 2, 4, or 6 weeks). The products you select will be added to your cart (minimum of 12).

In the shopping cart you will see your purchase summary. Click on 'Finalize order' and you will be able to fill in the form with the shipping information and proceed to the payment of the first subscription order.

You are free to change or cancel your subscription order at any time before the next subscription order.

Tip: Add at least €30 to your cart to qualify for free shipping.

How is the payment processed?

To activate your subscription you will need to enter a payment method, and this will be done automatically when your subscription order is generated. Subsequent orders will follow the same procedure: you will receive a payment confirmation when the order is generated.

How can I add products to my subscription?

You can easily add new subscription products by logging into your customer account. Click on "MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS" and go to the "Subscriptions" section, where you'll see the "Add product" button. If you don't have an account, you can sign up HERE

Find the product you want to add, select it, and choose whether to add it as a recurring item or a one-time purchase so you'll receive it only with your next order.

How can I add a discount code to my subscription?

You can add a discount code to your subscription by logging into your customer account. Click on "MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS" and go to the "Subscriptions" section; at the bottom, you'll see the "Add discount" button, where you can enter the code.

NOTE: Only discount codes from the rewards program labeled "X€ Off Your Next Subscription Order" and those specifically announced in subscription-related promotions will be valid for subscriptions.

How can I change the renewal date of my subscription?

You can easily change the date you want your subscription order to be processed by logging into your customer account. Click on 'MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS' and go to 'Your next order' to edit the 'Order date' or any other details. Please note that your order will arrive within 24–72 hours of that date.

How can I delay or advance my subscription?

By modifying the renewal date as explained in the previous question, you will be able to delay or advance the order as much as you want.

What happens if I go on vacation?

No problem! Follow the guidelines in the "How can I change my subscription renewal date?" section and schedule your next order for the day that suits you best.

How can I cancel my subscription?

We don't want you to leave. But if that's what you want, you can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account here, or if you don't have an account, by clicking here.

Once there, click on "MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS" and go to the "Subscriptions" section to view your subscription. Cancel your subscription, and you're all set!

What happens if my subscription order is not generated?

Don't worry! It can happen for various reasons: an error in the payment or our website, a card without funds, a field of your subscription that is not complete... But we are here to help you.

Where can I buy it?

You can purchase all our Smileat and TRIBOO products either individually or save money with our value packs at the Online Store. You’ll also have access to exclusive products.

Shipping time

Your order may take 1 to 3 business days to arrive at your address. Typically, your order should arrive within 48 hours.
Orders placed during special or promotional periods (such as Black Friday) may take a little longer to arrive.
You can check the status of your shipment in the email you’ll receive once your order has been confirmed as “shipped” or in your online account under order information.

Methods of payment

You can pay by debit/credit card (Visa or Mastercard), Paypal, Bizum, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Our website uses SSL security certificates, so your payment details are encrypted at all times.

Shipping and handling
  • Orders with a value exceeding €30 qualify for free shipping throughout the peninsula.
  • Orders under €30 have a shipping cost of €5.95.
  • Orders to the Balearic Islands have a shipping cost of €5.95 for orders over €30 and €9.95 for orders under €30.
  • We do not ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.
Where do I enter a promo code?

Once you confirm your shopping cart, you will access the shipping and payment pages. There, you will see a field where you can enter the coupon, and it will automatically show if the code is valid and the discount it applies to the order.

Exchanges and Returns
  • Unfortunately we cannot make changes to our orders, we can only respond to wrongly shipped or defective orders.
  • For returns, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 calendar days from the day the order is delivered to you or to a third party you have authorized. For more information, see the shipping and return policy.

What should you do if it breaks?

In order to manage the claim, you must contact us through our Help Center.

After reviewing the photos and damages, we will proceed with the immediate replacement of the item or a full refund, with us assuming the full shipping costs.

Important:

  • If the damage is visible, it must be explicitly noted in the delivery driver's comments at the time of accepting the order, or, alternatively, the order should not be accepted.
  • After 5 days from receipt, we cannot be held responsible for damages to the received orders.
