CA-CHI-TO TO CA-CHI-TO

What makes this range special?
The new jars with CA-CHI-TOS don't just contain any bits. They have 100% organic and very fun bits! And, as it couldn't be otherwise, the recipes are validated by nutritionists, always designed with the aim of:
- A high proportion of different and seasonal vegetables.
- The right ratio of high quality proteins.
- Combining proteins of vegetable origin such as quinoa and red lentils, as of high quality animal origin turkey and lean beef.
- Carbohydrates in the form of small pieces cooked, but not crushed.

When will you be ready?
From around 10 months, and depending on each baby, they begin to have the ability to chew soft bits of food. Chewing is essential for the development of the orofacial muscles, which are involved in speech development.
If you're unsure when to start giving your baby solid foods with small pieces or if you're concerned about choking, you can use this checklist to verify if your baby is ready to start trying small bits:
- They hold their little head and can sit on themselves.
- Show interest in what you adults eat.
- They no longer have an extrusion reflex.
When in doubt, always ask your pediatrician if it is the right time to start and if you are ready.

What is the extrusion reflex?
It is a reflex action that occurs when the baby pushes food out of the mouth with the tongue after we have introduced it. The first time, it may be a little alarming, but it is a natural and perfectly normal reflex action.

How do I start with CA-CHI-TOS?

If your baby meets all the requirements, you can start giving them small bits gradually, and ALWAYS with the supervision of an adult to ensure everything is going well. You can rely on these three jars, as each of them contains bits of different sizes.

You'll find the smallest bits in the Red Lentil with Quinoa one. We could continue by letting them try the Rice with Turkey and Vegetables for introducing more solid textures. Finally, the Star Pasta with Tomato is the perfect ally for babies accustomed to larger bits.

What if my child has allergies?
All our jars are free from egg, milk, and gluten, except for the Star Pasta with Tomato, which contains gluten in the star-shaped pasta. However, it is suitable for those allergic to egg and milk.
We have a range of 11 gluten-free jars and 12 egg- and milk-free jars, all of which are made without the addition of thickeners, additives or salt.

Where can I get them?
They are now available at our website. Doing the shopping is very easy, you add the desired units to the cart, and within 24-72 hours, we'll have them delivered to you! We are also working to make it possible for you to buy them in... supermarkets, organic grocery stores and pharmacies where we are already (see stores).
