At Smileat, we consider sustainable development as part of our values, so committed to the environment we have decided to research possible uses you can give to the jars once your baby has enjoyed them. Here are some great ideas to reuse them:

1. Use your jars to store buttons, coins, cotton, rings, earrings.

You just need to think of a color or colors you would like to paint the lids (use acrylic paint). Then use a drill to open holes of the appropriate size and place the handles you like (you can buy them at a hardware store).

2. To store kitchen ingredients.

If you like this idea, you just need to buy and print transparent label paper. If you want it to be more durable, you can buy transparent transfer paper (water-based) and once placed on the jar, you must ensure the print's permanence by microwaving them for 5 minutes on low power.

3. To make a spice rack

You can store your kitchen spices by painting the lids with chalkboard paint (or with black stickers) and using chalk to indicate which spice is inside, or if you want something more elaborate you can glue a magnet on the jar lids and use a metal sheet to stick the jars by their lids (you can identify them with stickers if you want) and finally place the metal sheet wherever you like. You can even screw it to a piece of furniture and use it to store buttons, threads, and needles, keeping them away from your little one.

4. To organize your little one's colors.

Use a cake tray and glue inside the jars previously painted with acrylic paint on the inside.

5. As a vase, candlestick, or place to harvest your spices

Use a wooden board, a couple of hooks (for hanging), and some Velcro strips. Screw the Velcro strips to the wood using a drill to open the holes beforehand where you want to place the jars. Place the hooks at the top (optional) and you're done.

6. For baking

You can make some cupcakes with your personal recipe and use natural colorings if you want to make them more fun for your little one. Remember that the baking time is much shorter (15-20 min), if the batter overflows just cut them with a knife. Feel free to decorate them as you like.

7. Party favors

You can spray paint the lids with acrylic paint, before that you can stick some plastic details related to the party. They can be little bunnies for Easter! Fill them with chocolate eggs or the candies you prefer. You can use stickers to identify or decorate them.

There are many options, take advantage of our Smileat jars to give them some use, tell us if you try any idea and send us your photos. At Smileat, we love using them to organize our pens on office desks!!
